Material Handling Equipment

Team Systems is an Australian-owned company that manufactures, imports and distributes material handling equipment.

Advantages of using warehouse mezzanine

A warehouse mezzanine is an elevated floor with unused open air installed between your concrete floor and the roof of the warehouse. The warehouse mezzanine is independent, meaning it is not attached to or supported by your building. When your operation changes, it can easily expand or disintegrate and move.

The floor of the warehouse mezzanine varies depending on the specific application. The most common flooring materials manufactured by teamsystems.net.au are rescinded, engineered wood which is very wear-resistant and has mezzanine 1 sterile integrity to support the lethal jack. Other floor deck surfaces are steel plates, fire retardant plywood and concrete. All of these flooring systems are mounted on corrugated steel roof decks, also known as B-decks. The roof deck provides the floor with its power. The most used B-deck is 20 Ga even in thickness it can come in 18 g.

In a warehouse environment, a mezzanine system can play an important role in helping you expand your storage or workspace using the space you already have. Once the mezzanine closes, you continue to use the space, to get the downstream, second floor.

How to increase your convenience while working at the production floor? A big problem is that many manufacturing plants and distribution centres have gone beyond their convenience. For production lines or lots of shipping and receiving companies, storage space is extremely important. If you’re at your convenience for any length, you’ve already seen the demand for space for your business as well as how challenging it can be.
